SPRINGTIME CLASSIC
DATE OF EVENT: 21/03/10
TOUR
The Tour ride is the shortest ride of the Springtime Classic at 35miles.
Although short in miles this is still a good test for beginers and those who are coming back to full fitness.
The route has three main climbs to test the rider climbing ability they are :-
- Pillow Mounds Hill
- Cobb Lane Hill
- Ardingly Reservoir Climb
The route avoids any of the major climbs of the two other rides on the Burgess Hill Springtime Classic Cyclosportive event. The Tour ride offers a good ride around the roads of Sussex with less of the strength sapping pain enducing gradients abundant on the other rides, This ride has to make sense for many cyclists who wish to enter the Burgess Hill Springtime cyclosportive..
