Starting & Finishing on Brighton's Seafront

Starting and finishing on Brighton & Hove's iconic seafront, the Brighton to Brighton cyclosportive is in its fifth year. The excellent routes with the longest route having six feed stop available should you need them. With five routes to choose from there's a route for all fitness levels. An ideal event to raise some funds for charity if you feel inclined.

THE ROUTES

All five routes are relatively flat and fast although the longest distance (The Classic route) has Tennyson's Lane to climb half way around the route.

Devils Dyke hill awaits all riders at the end of each of the routes before a nice descent down through Brighton to the seafront finishing area.

bb6This cyclosportive has some really great roads to cycle on and with six potential feed stops on the longest route you might get back to the finish if you're not careful having consumed more calories than you have burned.

Since we started this cyclosportive 4 years ago (5 years ago if you include other start location in Brighton) we've had considerable amount of people congratulate us on the well designed routes.

Our Sun dance to the cycling gods doesn't always work but if it's a Sunny day for the event we have to say the routes of the B2B are just glorious. If you've never taken part in this cyclosportive before we urge you to give it a try or at least ask someone you know that has tried it to see what they though of it.

The Hills

Compared to most SRS Events the Brighton to Brighton Cyclosportive is fairly flat but as already stated there are two hills to be aware of.

Tennyson's Lane Climb

Only the Classic Route goes up this climb

Devils Dyke Hill

All routes go up this climb. With tired legs this can be a struggle. Riders though can look forward to the descent in to Brighton and the Finish on the seafront after they have conquered this last climb of the day.

CHIP Timed

All the riders riding the B2B Cyclosportive will be electronically timed with downloadable certificates available after the ride. Gold Silver and Bronze Standards will be awarded depending on what time you do. Standards will be awarded to different age groups and their will be different standards for men and women. To see the standards go to the route page (see above top right).
